Biography
Tiffanie Nabinger started at Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis in August 2019 as a Visiting Lecturer. There, she continued work on her doctorate in how to use innovative methods to enhance classroom, clinical, and simulation education with undergraduate nursing students. Nabinger's first doctorate project was a simulation escape room about sepsis. Nabinger had nursing students and bedside nurses complete an escape room in the simulation setting, learning how to quickly recognize the signs and symptoms of sepsis for timely interventions to reduce patient harm. Nabinger completed her doctorate in May 2022 and disseminated the scholarly project results titled: Improving Suicidal Patient Outcomes with the use of Innovative Learning Methodologies. Currently, Nabinger is working on publication. Nabinger also continues to work as a bedside nurse at Riley Hospital for Children and has been there since 2006. In 2023, Nabinger received a Daisy Award nomination from a previous student.
