Computers are also essential tools for an IU School of Nursing student, whether you are in class, learning remotely, or a hybrid of both.
As an Indiana University student, you will have access to a wealth of learning resources, applications, and learning tools to help you on your educational journey. You will have extensive knowledge databases, technical support, software downloads, and new classroom technologies at your disposal.
The RN to BSN Statewide (online) degree completion option is the only completely online undergraduate option offered by IU School of Nursing.
This unique option allows you to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 12–24 months of study depending on whether you enroll full-time or part-time. You will study with peers from across the state of Indiana, each one admitted to the program via their home IU campus. You’ll each earn your degree from your home campus.
The nine tracks of the MSN program includes both online and hybrid courses to balance working nurses’ need for flexibility. This provides opportunities for hands-on learning and face-to-face faculty and peer interaction. Courses use a mix of web-based, videoconference, face-to-face, asynchronous, and synchronous requirements. Courses may have some required campus visits and all clinical hours must be completed in Indiana.
The Teaching in Nursing Certificate is a 17 credit-hour graduate certificate offered via distance technologies.
Doctor of Nursing Practice and the PhD in Nursing Science are distance-accessible programs. Each may be completed online with minimal face-to-face requirements.
