Health and Community Systems

Impact: Enhance the health and well-being of people and their communities

Health and community systems research focuses on the various systems that impact public health and individual well-being. Researchers analyze healthcare delivery systems, community resources, social determinants of health, and the interactions between these key pieces. The goal is an understanding of how different health and community systems components influence health outcomes, access to care, disparities in health, and overall population health  to develop interventions and inform policies that enhance the health and well-being of individuals and their communities.
