Academics

Need help? Have a question? Advisors and faculty are ready to help

Canvas is the online learning platform used at IU. It and other digital learning tools are available to students across the university. Find out more about Canvas and online educational tools.

You can contact your academic advisor anytime, in addition to other campus support services. They can also help connect you to mentors and other advisors. IU Indianapolis' Student Central can help you register for classes, find transcripts, see grades, and other common requests, too.

Many students find extra help and tutoring at the IU Indianapolis Math Assistance Center (MAC) and University Writing Center. Both are great ways to find help with a formula or to ask an editor to review your papers or proposals. Tutoring and review sessions are available for most undergraduate nursing courses at a nominal cost per hour; contact at 317-274-2806 IUSON Student Services for more information

A lot of work can be conducted online, such as meetings or discussions with faculty or peers, however, some work is best done on campus or at facilities in your area. Undergraduate nursing courses generally are conducted on campus while many graduate courses are distance-accessible, or have online or hybrid components.
