The Research in Palliative and End-of-Life Communication and Training (RESPECT) Center, an affiliated center housed in the IU School of Medicine, is engaged in improving the care of patients with serious and terminal illness through a focus on enhancing communication through their own work and in collaboration with colleagues.
The mission of the RESPECT Center is to build a collaborative, interdisciplinary scientific community of researchers and clinicians to work together to advance the science of communication in palliative and end-of-life care across the lifespan.
