Certified Nurse Aide Program Director and Instructor Training Seminar

This virtual training, offered via Zoom, is a train-the-trainer program for both program directors and program instructors of the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program in the state of Indiana.

Registration
$299 for Certified Nurse Aide Program Director and Instructor Training sessions (includes Zoom session and Canvas course).
$199 if you are also taking the QMA training course held on the same day.

(Please note when registering for this course – the $299 fee includes the Zoom course and the Canvas course. If you plan to also attend the QMA course, select the $199 fee on the QMA registration page. You do not need to take the Canvas portion twice.)

Registration for the program is limited. Advance registration is required, and day-of registrations are not accepted.

Seminar Format

This seminar is offered in two parts. Both parts are required to successfully complete the training.

Part one is a one-day, in-person training via Zoom on the day listed on the registration page.

Part two is an online self-study course that will take an average computer user about 3-4 hours to complete.

Learners will have approximately 10 days to complete the online self-study requirement.

Contact Hours and Disclosures

Contact hours will be calculated based upon the length of the Zoom session.

To receive contact hours, you must attend part one (in-person via Zoom), complete part two satisfactorily (online), and submit the seminar evaluation.

Preparing for the Seminar

Your registration confirmation email contains important instructions regarding setting up your guest account for access to the Canvas learning management system. Please read carefully and complete this process as soon as possible to avoid delay in accessing the online portion of the course.

Zoom access information will be sent prior to the workshop date. Prior to the session, check your network connections, audio, and video in Zoom by visiting the Zoom test room.

Registrants will be added to the Canvas course site the day prior to the workshop.

Handouts will be sent electronically to the email address provided on the registration form. Participants should save the handouts on a device/laptop to use during the workshop and, if desired, print handouts; no handouts are provided.

Seminar Instructors

This seminar is conducted by Indiana University School of Nursing personnel and representatives from the Indiana State Board of Health Division of Health Care Education & Quality.
