From reciting the Nursing Pledge for the first time to preparing for NCLEX to beginning practice as an advanced practice nurse or research as a nurse scientist, you will be supported by faculty and staff of the School, the University's resources, and hundreds of available student and professional organizations.
IU Indianapolis has a rich student life that offers many opportunities for you to choose from. Our location in the heart of Indianapolis gives you access to shopping, museums, sports, theatre, and miles of walking and biking trails. On campus, the annual Regatta on the Canal, Jaguars athletics, and Jagathon — the dance marathon to raise money for Riley Children's Hospital — will keep your heart pumping. And, there are plenty of opportunities for reflection at the Woods Fountain, multiple libraries, and quiet spaces around campus.
