Biography
Cureton received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree from Indiana University in May 2022. She studied Community Health and earned minors in both Spanish and Human Sexuality.
Cureton previously worked for Indiana University's Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics assisting in COVID-19 vaccine research. She continued her research journey working for Centerstone's Research Institute in Bloomington, IN as an intern focusing on behavioral and social health evaluation.
Eager to continue research efforts, Cureton joined the IU School of Nursing in 2022 as a Community Outreach Specialist working for the R24 CARE Research Project—a community-based initiative aimed to provide Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia resources and encourage research participation in underrepresented communities.
