Biography
Dr. Kristen Mattox is a Clinical Assistant Professor. She obtained her BSN, MSN, and PhD from Indiana University. Kristen specializes in curriculum and instruction, and her educational research focuses on using technology to improve learning. Kristen maintains her nursing practice at Vigor Health and Beauty as a co-owner and nurse injector in Greenwood, Indiana.
Kristen teaches in the undergraduate BSN program and the ASN to BSN statewide consortium. Areas of expertise include simulation, health promotion, informatics, fundamentals, assessment, medical surgical, and critical care. As a nurse and nurse educator, Kristen strives to promote the health and well-being of her students, patients, and community.
Kristen is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, American Association of Colleges of Nursing, National League of Nursing, and Midwest Nursing Research Society.
