Rachell Laughlin is the Simulation Coordinator for the Indiana University School of Nursing. In this role, they oversee the planning, implementation, and support of simulation-based learning experiences that prepare nursing students for clinical practice.
They bring over five years of experience as a simulation specialist and hold the Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) credential. With academic backgrounds in both psychology and medical humanities, they bring a unique, interdisciplinary perspective to simulation education—one that emphasizes empathy, human behavior, and learner-centered design.
