Sara developed her love of nursing while interning at Step by Step Pediatrics. Her career in nursing included a variety of roles including the PICU and Labor and Delivery at Methodist Hospital, Pediatric Emergency at IU West, and Labor and Delivery at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines Iowa. Sara loved working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Kidd Pediatrics; and
Sara always saw the good in everyone and everything. She had a great sense of humor, incredible smile, and positive attitude that touched everyone she came in contact with. It was Sara's wish that everyone perform an act of kindness and pay it forward, by example, returning a lost item or even simply returning the cart to the cart corral. This is something that can be continued for years to come to honor Sara's kindness that she shared with everyone she came into contact with.
