Accolades and awards

This year has seen numerous promotions, honors, and awards for our IU School of Nursing Bloomington (IUSON BL) faculty and staff. Now that the school year has ended, it is time - once again - to recognize our faculty and staff for their award-winning accomplishments.

New roles

Kim was also appointed as Chair of the American Public Health Association/Public Health Nurse Section Continuing Education Accreditation Committee for 2023-2025.

Dr. Marsha Hughes-Gay is our new interim assistant dean of academic operations. Marsha originated the assistant dean role on the Bloomington campus in 2020 and served in it for more than two years. She has graciously agreed to serve in this role until it is permanently filled.
