Meet Dr. Stayce Woodburn
Stayce Woodburn, DNP, RN, PNP-BC, NE-BC, currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Advanced Practice and Academic Affairs for IU Health. In her role, she supports IU Health Medical Group in achieving the mission, vision, and values of Indiana University Health, advancing the field of nursing and advanced practice within the organization. With over 24 years of nursing experience, including 18 years as a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Riley Hospital on the Stem Cell Transplant Service, Stayce has made significant contributions to the field. During her tenure at IU Health, she has served in numerous leadership and clinical roles focused on advanced practice providers, healthcare advocacy, nursing, and clinical research.
Stayce obtained her doctorate, master’s, and baccalaureate degrees from Indiana University. She also completed a year of fellowship training focused on advocacy advancement in health care. Currently, she serves as the advocacy chair for Indiana Organization for Nursing Leaders (IONL); membership and funds chair for the Indiana Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nursing (IAPHON) and is an active member of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Indiana (CAPNI). Stayce’s extensive experience, dedication, and leadership have made her a pivotal figure in fostering excellence and innovation in advanced practice and the field of nursing, ensuring the highest standards of care for both our patients and team members.
