Meet Dr. Katherine Feley
Katherine Feley, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CPPS, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Indiana State Nurses Association, where she leads advocacy and program initiatives for Indiana’s foremost nursing professional association. She also serves as the Executive Director of the Indiana Nurses Foundation.
Before joining ISNA, Dr. Feley was the System Director of Patient Safety at Indiana University Health, driving key patient safety initiatives. Her diverse experience spans Pediatrics, Supply Chain, and Risk Management. She earned both her Master’s and Doctorate in Health Systems Administration from Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University. Dr. Feley is board executive certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Society of Association Executives.
Committed to community service, she is an active member of the Indiana University Health North & West Quality and Safety Board, the Board of Directors for Independent Living for Adults with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities, and the Carmel Youth Assistance Board.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Feley enjoys shopping, knitting, cooking, and spending time with friends and family—including her spirited five-going-on-twenty-year-old daughter, Evelyn, a future nurse in the making.
