Program Objectives

1. Identity opportunities and challenges in providing advanced care to mothers and infants with complex needs.

2. Describe clinical and ethical considerations in providing care to vulnerable populations.

3. Discuss strategies for successful Perinatal CNS role transition.

8 contact hours will be given upon the attendance of both sessions.

Preparing for the Conference

Registrants will be added to the Canvas course site the day prior to the workshop.

Prior to the session, check your network connections, audio, and video in Zoom by visiting the Zoom test room.

The week before the live (Zoom) portion, handouts will be sent electronically to the email address.

This conference is being hosted by the IU School of Nursing in partnership with the Perinatal CNS Network.

The Perinatal CNS Network is an informal special interest network group formed in 2020 and comprised of like-minded CNSs from around the United States who are committed to the mission of improving maternal-infant health outcomes by providing a forum for solving problems, sharing innovations, exchanging ideas, and leading clinical care by supporting and disseminating the unique contributions of the Perinatal CNS.
