Biography
Jamie Lupfer, MSN, WHNP-BC, earned her BSN at Indiana University, and her MSN in Women’s Health at Vanderbilt University. She is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Jamie is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and Sigma Theta Tau (Honor Society of Nursing). She has practiced nursing in a medical surgical unit, in surgery, and in pediatric, gynecological, and dermatology clinics.
Jamie has taught Fundamentals, Physical Assessment, and Pharmacology courses. She has been an instructor in Medical Surgical, Mental Health, Healthy Populations, and Obstetric clinicals. Her main role is the lead coordinator for the Capstone Practicum. She also serves as the faculty advisor for the Student Nurses Association on the Bloomington campus. Jamie encourages her nursing students to strive to master their professional and nursing skills in the clinical setting.
In addition to teaching, Jamie works as a Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Skin Institute in Evansville, Indiana.
