We did it!

In December, we completed the first full semester in our beautiful, new, state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building in a safe, face-to-face environment - something that we all missed! It was a semester full of accomplishments, many of which you will read about in this edition of The Nursing News.

On a personal note, this will be the last time I talk to you in the pages of The Nursing News. My time as interim associate dean has ended, and I will be turning the reins over to Dr. Wendy Miller, IUSON BL's new, permanent associate dean. There are so many new opportunities now open for our school. I am confident that everyone will provide Dr. Miller with the same level of support that you have so generously afforded me.

My time in Bloomington has been very special: I got to see the enthusiasm and resiliency of our students and the desire of our faculty and staff to do whatever it takes to help students succeed. I also discovered the overwhelming generosity and support offered, every day, by our alumni and donors. We truly could not do any of this without YOU. These memories are sure to stay with me. I am proud to have served as your interim associate dean. Thank you all for being a part of our IUSON BL extended family!
