Biography
Dr. Holtel is a lecturer at Indiana University, Indianapolis campus. She earned her BSN from Indiana University in 2001, MSN in Nursing Education from Indiana University in 2009, and DNP from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, in 2023. Dr. Holtel’s primary nursing experience has been in pediatric settings. She also has experience in nursing professional development. Dr. Holtel joined IUSON in 2009 and has taught a variety of courses in the undergraduate program, including pediatrics, medical-surgical nursing, community nursing, health assessment, capstone, and nursing synthesis. Dr. Holtel currently serves on several committees at IUSON and as the NCLEX Success Coordinator for the IUSON Indianapolis campus.
