Biography
Dr. Brower is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track at Indiana University School of Nursing, with over 20 years of experience in cardiovascular critical care, pulmonary and critical care medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, and trauma. She is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Certified Critical Care Nurse.
Dr. Brower has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with the majority of her teaching in the AG-ACNP track as adjunct faculty from 2011-2015 and 2020-2022. Her interests include experiential and social learning, high-fidelity simulation, curriculum development and enhancement, and care of acutely and critically ill obstetric patients.
