Scholarship applications now open!

Scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year for undergraduate and graduate nursing students across all IU campuses are now open through March 2, 2025.

If you are an incoming or current, undergraduate or graduate IU School of Nursing student, you may apply for one of our scholarships by submitting an application and required essay. Scholarship applications are open from December 1 to March 2. During the open period, you can search the scholarships portal using the keyword “nursing” for available scholarships.

For financial need scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. Deadline to submit your FAFSA can be found at the same link.

Award amounts range from $500 to $10,000 per year, per scholarship.

How to apply for scholarships

  1. Sign in to the scholarship portal using your IU username and passphrase.
  2. Complete the general scholarship application to be automatically considered for all the scholarship opportunities you’re eligible for.
  3. Find the opportunities you’re looking for by performing a search with keyword nursing or the specific name of the scholarship.
  4. Complete any additional application materials that may be necessary.
