Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Nursing Education

Indianapolis
Graduate

The Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Nursing Education was established in 2017 by Diane M. Billings, EdD, RN, FAAN, and Chancellor's Professor Emeritus upon her retirement. If there's one woman known at IUSON for fearlessly breaking barriers, it is Diane Billings. Billings maintains that her point of impact was implementing a plan to put a computer on the desk of all faculty and staff and developing a state-of-the-art computer center for students. Billings may have retired, but her legacy is visible all over IUSON today. One only needs to visit the simulation center and the learning lab at IUSON to see the innovative technologies to which the students now have access.

Bloomington

The Roderick D. & Helen Kinnear Mackenzie Scholarship was established by Sheona Mackenzie and Neil Theobald in honor of Sheona's parents. Roderick and Helen valued education and firmly believed that access to education should be made available to all and not just the privileged. They immigrated from Scotland to the United States so their children could study any field they chose.
