Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a mid-career or senior tenure-track faculty (associate or full professor) position. This position offers an exciting opportunity for research and teaching in our academic programs. Service is also an expectation of this appointment.
Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master’s degree in nursing. IUSON is particularly interested in applicants with research programs focused on developing and testing novel interventions. These programs would be focused on promoting health equity for underserved populations, preventing and managing serious chronic conditions (particularly cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological diseases), improving survival and quality of life, and evaluating and testing health systems interventions. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on evidence of scholarly, teaching, and service achievements. Successful candidates must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure and must meet the appointment requirements of a tenured associate or full professor.
As the state’s premier urban research institution, IUPUI is committed to being a welcoming campus community that reflects and enacts the values of diversity, equity and inclusion that inform academic excellence. We seek candidates who will not only enhance our representational diversity but whose research, teaching, and community engagement efforts contribute to diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning and working environments for our students, staff, and faculty. IUPUI condemns racism in all its forms and has taken an anti-racist stance that moves beyond mere statements to interrogating its policies, procedures, and practices. We hope to identify individuals who will assist in our mission to dismantle racism so that everyone has the opportunity to succeed at IUPUI.
Applications received by January 4, 2023, will be given priority. Letters of application with curriculum vitae and names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of three references must be submitted online.
